Therefore, The series connection of supercapacitors must be equipped with a voltage sharing circuit. When supercapacitors are used in series, there is a problem of voltage balance between individual capacitors. Simple series connection will lead to overvoltage of one or several individual capacitors, and then damage these capacitors, affecting the overall function. Therefore, when capacitors are used in series, technical support from the manufacturer is required.
